Island Escape
Ships Monthly is planning to catch-up with long-time cruise favourite Island Escape for a momentus 50th readers' tour, a 12 night ‘Atlantic Sunrise' itinerary sailing from the Canary Islands to the Mediterranean.
Departure is from Las Palmas on Saturday 24 April 2010 on board Island Escape.
Island Cruises will be pulling out all the stops for a golden Cruise Club celebration on Island Escape first visits the islands of La Palma and Madeira before the Spanish ports of Cadiz and Almeria begin a sequence of calls at centres with a varied maritime interest along with a fascinating selection of shore excursions.
Next stop is Sardinian capital Caligari before Island Escape continues for major full day Italian calls at stunning Naples and Civitavecchia, the port for Rome. Then, with a course set to the west, we have a halt in Ajaccio, Corsica, before a final highlight in magnificent Barcelona, prior to an overnight sailing to Palma, Majorca.
Special Cruise Club prices start at £979 are based on afternoon flights to Las Palmas from London Gatwick, returning from Palma, Majorca, and with departures also available from and back to Manchester at a supplement of £50 per person.
